The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
